QUALITY: Our accreditations in management and manufacture ensure the highest of standards
In addition to Britannia's rigorous in house quality standards, our windows are rigourously tested by the British Standards Institution to BS7412 and BS7950 every 12 months. We also operate an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
BS7412 specifies types and requirements for materials, construction, security, safety, weathertightness and strength performance.
BS7950 is the prestigious British Standard Kitemark for improved security. To achieve BS7950 windows are put through rigourous security tests at least every 12 months.
Our windows exceed the British Standards requirements by a wide margin and have done so since our initial accreditation back in 1991.
Britannia operates an ISO 9001:2000 quality management system which sets out procedures and measures performance in all aspects of the business from the initial enquiry through to the final installation, and throughout the extensive guarantee period. The Lloyds Register for Quality Assurance visit at least every 12 months to carry out checks on our quality management system.
We are a FENSA registered company ensuring that our installations meet particular specifications such as thermal efficiency and ventilation for example.
Britannia Windows is also a member of Constructionline and the Building Safety Group.
